Terms of Service
Effective date: December 16, 2025
Summary
These Terms explain the rules for using Lokee. By using Lokee, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You may use Lokee only if you can legally enter into these Terms in your country. If you are using Lokee on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lokee for your own personal, lawful purposes, subject to these Terms.
Using Lokee
- You will use Lokee for personal, lawful purposes.
- You will not try to break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app.
- You will not copy, resell, or distribute the app or its content unless we give you written permission.
Content and audio
Lokee provides phrases and audio to help you communicate while traveling. We work hard to keep content useful and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be correct for every region, context, accent, or situation.
Lokee may include text-to-speech or other audio features. Audio output can vary by device, operating system, and voice settings.
Subscriptions and purchases
Lokee may offer paid passes (for example: 7-day, 30-day, or lifetime). The prices and options shown in the app control. Purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store. Refunds, billing, and cancellation follow Apple’s rules.
Time-limited passes expire at the end of their term. If a pass is time-limited, you may need to purchase again to continue access after it expires.
Your content and feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to improve Lokee, without any obligation to you.
Availability and changes to Lokee
We may update, change, pause, or discontinue Lokee at any time. We may also limit features for maintenance, safety, or legal reasons.
Safety note
Lokee is for everyday travel communication. It is not emergency, medical, legal, or professional advice. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Lokee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Some countries do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect Lokee and its users. You can stop using Lokee at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we will update the effective date and may provide notice in the app or on this site.
